a video/motion graphics piece I created for a rock band Fugitiv.

“Sound.InsideOut” is an experimental approach to visualizing music. The concept for the film was to translate elements of sound into elements of human motion. Written, performed, filmed, directed, and edited by me.

“Crossword” is a cinematic visualization of memory loss achieved by exploring various digital and analog manipulations of printed typography. Using a stop-motion technique, I sequenced around 2500 still images to create a flowing cinematic experience. The soundtrack is based on Telepopmusik’s “Don’t Look Back”. To accentuate the idea of an altered state of mind, I edited the track so that it is playing in reverse during the dream sequence and forward during the “reality” sequence.

MetaLingua is the third final case study for my MFA thesis. Key concepts of the work – learning a foreign language through interactive play; learning purely by association through playful manipulations of interactive video.

PhonOpera is a short film which visualizes an emotional glimpse of a relationship through a phone conversation between a violin and a piano.
